The Acronym CCAF stands for correct connect Africa foundation, which is a movement of Africans, young and old, interested in promoting African Heritage: history, cultures, values, Style, and Beauty through EDUCATION. Our movement is centered on the Sankofa Philosophy, which means, going back to get it. It is the idea that centers on returning to fetch or collect what one has left behind so as to be able to move forward authentically. Therefore, we are on a journey to take back what is originally part of us and which we have neglected and subdued by paying attention to that which is peripheral to the fundamentals. We want to get hold of our fundamentals and reconstruct our identity thereof. The only way to apply the Sankofa paradigm is to get educated and to be informed in a way that favors enlightenment. This is why our slogan is: connecting through education! We are in this process of connecting to our history, heritage, culture, and worldview by educating ourselves in the things of our founding fathers and mothers. We are moved by passion and pride and we invite all who have a similar passion to embark on this journey with us.
